Name of the class: Book Club

Date and Time: Second Friday of each month, 3-5 pm

​

Description: Book club is a reading group. Each month the group members read the selected book for the month on their own and then share their opinions and impressions of the book in the discussion session. Members actively look for possible books to read for the following month and bring their recommendations to the group. A selected book would preferably be a novel from an Iranian author or a novel translated into Farsi. Kaanun Mehr provides the electronic copy or the audio copy of the book for the participants.

Expected Outcome: Participants are rewarded with developing love for reading more books, becoming familiar with classic and contemporary Iranian and International novels and authors, as well gaining new perspectives on the books we read as a group.

 

Tuition: 

Members; Quarterly - $15

Non-Members; Quarterly - $21

If for any reason one prefers to participate in a session, here and there, the charge would be $7 per session, both for members and non-members
